Grade Calculation
Your Final Grade in this course will be calculated as follows:
- Final Exam: 20%
- Adjusted Base Grade: 80%
Your Adjusted Base Grade will be calculated based on engagement credits earned as follows:
- less than credits: Your Adjusted Base Grade MINUS TEN POINTS
- more than and less than credits: Your Adjusted Base Grade MINUS THREE POINTS
- more than and less than credits: No adjustment
- more than credits: Your Adjusted Base Grade PLUS THREE POINTS
Your Base Grade is calculated using the following table:

| 96 | Earn Satisfactory marks on quizzes; and complete or more Challenges with at least an M mark, including at least E marks and at least one E from each of THREE different units. |
| 86 | Earn Satisfactory marks on quizzes; and complete or more Challenges with at least an M mark, including at least E marks and at least one M from each of THREE different units. |
| 76 | Earn Satisfactory marks on quizzes; and complete or more Challenges with at least an M mark including at least one R from each of THREE different units. (No E marks required) |
| 66 | Earn Satisfactory marks on quizzes; and complete Challenges with at least an R mark. (No M or E marks required) |
If you do not accomplish the requirements for a 66, your base grade will be a 63.
