Final Exam

The final exam will be a combination of 8 randomly selected1 quizzes given earlier in the course and one additional question.

Each recycled quiz on the exam is graded as follows:

  • 12 points if Satisfactory (same standards used for the original quiz)
  • 8 points if “almost Satisfactory”
  • 0 or 4 points for work below that standard

The final question will earn you 4 points for a good faith effort to answer correctly and completely.

  1. The original “first attempt” quizzes (which every student should have taken) will be divided into four piles - one for each unit. Each pile will be shuffled and the top quiz from each pile will be selected for the final exam. Two more quizzes will be pulled from the top of the Django unit and the last Djano. The remaining quizzes in the other piles (NOT Django) will be shuflled together in one pile and the top two quizzes will be selected for the exam. Mr. Soistmann reserves the right to replace two of these quizzes or restart the selection process and run it again to adjust an exam if it appears it is going to be too difficult or too easy.
