Grade Calculation

This course is Pass/Fail. In order to earn a Pass, you must earn an Adjusted Base Grade of at least 69 AND more than Engagement Credits.

Your Adjusted Base Grade will be calculated based on engagement credits earned as follows:

  • less than credits: Your Adjusted Base Grade MINUS TEN POINTS
  • more than and less than credits: Your Adjusted Base Grade MINUS THREE POINTS
  • more than and less than credits: No adjustment
  • more than credits: Your Adjusted Base Grade PLUS THREE POINTS

Your Base Grade is calculated using the following table:

To earn:Accomplish the following:
96Earn at least a 3 for engagement for more than 8 class periods AND earn at least a 4 more than once AND earn both incentive checks.
86Earn at least a 3 for engagement for more than 7 class periods AND earn at least a 4 more than once AND earn at least one incentive checks.
76Earn at least a 3 for engagement for more than 6 class periods AND earn at least one incentive checks.
66Earn at least a 2 for engagement for more than 6 class periods

If you do not accomplish the requirements for a 66, your base grade will be a 63.
